Jonny wins £1000 on a scratch card, causing much speculation among the other characters as to what he will do with his money, although they have mostly stupid ideas. Donna and Gaz finally have a conversion in the pub although Flo thinks Donna should hire a conversational prostitute because she thinks Gaz will leave her. Janet throws a dinner party to celebrate Jonny’s scratch card win under the false impression that Jonny will spend the money on an engagement ring and is deeply upset when she finds out otherwise as is Donna when Gaz comments that he agrees with Jonny on the stupidity of marriage. Donna and Gaz make up that night. Louise also has a new posh boyfriend called James who she thinks is a ‘sex monster’ but whilst drunk he reveals at the dinner party that he is a virgin. Louise is at first upset at this but changes her mind when she realizes she can get James to do anything she wants. At the end of the episode, Jonny reveals he has spent the money on hiring the children’s TV character Bungle, who comes with a free bouncy castle.
